Awesome Tafe!

What a fun couple of weeks we have had running around campus taking videos and turning them into a short movie! We have picked up quiite a few tips along the way - like learning to check what settings the camera is on before you begin filming if you don't want to appear like you belong in a Comedy Capers or Benny Hill video. Moviemaker caused us a few frustrations when it came to editing and wasn't quite as simple as I thought it would - or - should be. Setting the timing of the videos and inserted slides in particular seemed to be quite clunky, but maybe we have yet to learn the most efficient way to set this across the whole video. Likewise the Trim tool. I would like to see Moviemaker set up a little more intuitively, perhaps like the Clickview editing screen. Even so, I am looking forward to producing my next blockbuster (stay tuned)!
